Recruiting: Electronic Medical Records Optimisation Director

A new, exciting opportunity is available for a strategic leader to head up the Optimisation of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in some of South Australia’s best hospitals.

The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Optimisation Director is responsible for the governance, management, delivery and evaluation of the Sunrise EMR program that has been rolled out across Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN).

Through the use of technology, the Electronic Medical Record enables staff to drive better health outcomes, provide excellent patient care and improve efficiency.

The role will partner with the Sunrise Program EMR leadership team to develop best practice program frameworks and protocols to deliver outcomes that are timely, high quality and cost effective.

“We finalised the implementation of the EMR across Central Adelaide late last year and we will focus on its optimisation. This will allow us to fulfil one of our key strategic ambitions of technology-enabling excellence,” Executive Director Digital Design, Paul Lambert, said.

“By refining the system’s usability, our workforce can generate data they need to improve decision-making, patient safety and care.”

“We are looking for a leader to provide direction and effective management in the successful adoption of the EMR solution across CALHN with a strong focus on clinical and business process improvement.”

Applications close 26 February 2021.
