CALHN Research Exchange
CALHN Research Exchange dives into the world-class research taking place within our network. Held from 14 to 18 October, it brings our workforce and stakeholders together to exchange ideas, connect, and collaborate, with the vision to enhance patient care and health outcomes.
Formerly known as CALHN Research Week, it’s an opportunity to learn about the innovative research being undertaken within CALHN, while hearing from invited research specialists at keynote sessions.
CALHN Research Exchange includes events in the RAH precinct from the Monday to Wednesday, with poster presentations on 15 and 16 October (register to attend here) showcasing research such as:
- how patients and doctors make decisions around kidney transplants
- patient involvement in prescribing new medicines
- new ways to treat post-traumatic stress disorder.
On Thursday and Friday, the well-established TQEH Research Expo will feature a plenary lecture by Professor Maria Makrides (SAHMRI), scientific presentations and an awards ceremony.
Events are open to all CALHN staff and stakeholders including researchers, academics, and university colleagues.
