CALHN’s Hospital Avoidance and Supported Discharge Service (HASDS) is looking for GPs to join its casual medical officer pool.
HASDS provides clinical services for low acuity patients with complex needs, providing an alternative option to a CALHN emergency department.
Positions will be based at Sefton Park (5km from the Adelaide CBD) with patients referred via SA Ambulance Service (SAAS), non-government organisations and primary care providers who are unable to deliver required care in the primary health setting.
GPs will enjoy working as part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team which utilises extensive clinical and other stakeholder networks to provide exceptional patient care. This rewarding role will draw on your existing abilities as well as further develop your clinical, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
