Flu vaccination program 2024
Making safe and effective flu vaccines available to all healthcare workers is a key priority of CALHN.
CALHN has a duty of care to ensure that health care workers contribute to a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. It is a requirement that all health care workers comply with the SA Health Occupational assessment screening and vaccination policy.
The annual flu vaccination program is an essential service led by the Clinical Worker Health Service across CALHN sites and programs.
This year, CALHN has partnered with AusHealth to deliver our flu vaccination program.
This program is for all CALHN, Spotless, ISS and MSS staff. All non-CALHN staff, students, and contractors working at CALHN sites can access their flu vaccination from their hiring organisation, community pharmacy or local GP.
CALHN staff flu vaccinations
The staff flu vaccination hubs have now closed but CALHN staff can still claim a voucher to get a flu vaccination at selected pharmacies (Terry White, Priceline and Amcal).
Getting your flu shot is one of the easiest ways we can ensure we all contribute to a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
If you do claim a voucher you will also need to complete a Health Care Worker (HCW) Vaccinated Elsewhere Notification online form
