If these programs don’t sound right for you but you’d still like to be considered for other roles, SA Health has established an Aboriginal Employment Pool to help strengthen its Aboriginal workforce. It provides a pool of candidates to help the recruitment, development and promotion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the South Australian health sector.

The Aboriginal Employment Pool is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are interested in working at SA Health across a variety of exciting positions. Existing SA Health staff who are looking for an opportunity to take a step to further progress their career are also encouraged to join the pool.

The Pool is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living across Australia. Relocation support may be available for interstate candidates who successfully gain employment at SA Health.

Candidates in the Pool may be offered temporary or ongoing employment on a full-time or part-time basis. Acceptance into the Pool does not guarantee employment. For more information, visit Aboriginal Employment Pool.

We acknowledge and pay respect to the First Nations Kaurna people upon whose ancestral land the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) provides services.

We acknowledge the relationship and deep feelings of attachment between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Country, and we acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the many lands from which our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers travel to receive services.
